daniel hertzell interior photography

Found these photos by Daniel Hertzell at Desire To Inspire and fell in love.

It seems as if he might be a photographer for Ikea. The red kitchen photo has been used in their catalogs and website, and the white/birch kitchen seems to be made of all Ikea items. Love it!

a few shots from my portfolio

I’m not sure why I never posted this. I think it might’ve been because I hadn’t finished getting pictures together for this post. I’m tired of seeing it sit in my drafts folder, so here it is. I’ll edit it later to add the missing photos.

twenty two on twenty one

Todays agenda: work, eat, be lazy, horror movie sleepover. Tomorrow: shopping with mama and possibly Star Trek. Saturday: another free day! Anywho…

Years and counting. Twenty-one was alright. Nothing special, but good enough. Wonder what twenty-two has in store for me. We’ll see.

sommartid

Ahh, the sequel to last year’s sommartid post. Photos like these make me want summer even more. Being able to eat dinner outside, driving with the windows down and moonroof open, hanging out in the 80 degree weather at 10 at night. All things I miss during all the cold months in Pennsylvania.

I love these modular outoor sectionals that are popping up everywhere lately. Ikea has some, so does Crate&Barrel, and CB2, too. They’re all very upscale looking.

I can’t wait to have a place of my own, where friends and family can come over for late-night get-togethers. Maybe a small backyard, or a huge one. Maybe a porch or patio. Maybe a roof garden. I would be happy either way.

my heart keeps beating like a hammer

Another music post. One of my all-time favorite bands, Metric has a new song out currently and an album set for release in March (nineteenth, I think?).

Help I’m AliveIf I stumble, they’re going to eat me alive. — Absolute perfection! Love the beat and instrumentals to this song. It’s a big strange sounding, but that’s nothing new for Metric. One thing that drives me crazy (and really isn’t a fault) is the structure of the song is confusing. It’s hard to determine the verses from the choruses from the bridge, etc.

Help I’m Alive (Acoustic)Can you hear my heart beating like a hammer? — Straight up beautiful (except during certain lines, a male vocal repeats lines and it sounds a little stupid, in my opinion). Go and download this for yourself at the Metric website! Also, there’s a little video that goes along with it on there.

Besides Imogen Heap and Lily Allen’s upcoming albums, Metric’s Fantasies is near the top of my list. I am squirming in my seat, impatiently waiting for all this good new music.

frolick frozen yogurt

Found this by Asylum on TheDieLine a while ago and have been wanting to post it real bad. I am seriously obsessed with the design and feeling of this brand.

The colors, Duke, the colors!
