methodkid packaging gets chilly

Wow guys, I am terrible when it comes to updating this thing. There are about a dozen half-finished posts in the drafts folder of wordpress just waiting to turn to real-life. This was one, and i’m finally wrapping it up. This has literally stood still for 3 months.

Just when I thought the kids packaging from method couldn’t get any cuter, I was proven wrong. I discovered these familiar otters were being phased out.

Say hello to the new face of methodkid products. A penguin!

Now see, if I had a child, I would have a legitimate reason for buying this stuff. That hasn’t stopped me though! I’ve picked up the little guy in fuzzy peach just for the package’s cuteness. It worked nicely as shampoo and smelled deliciously also!

getting squeaky clean at lowe(’)s

That freakin hardware store has come to my rescue! Method has been phasing out their old laundry products (especially their dryer sheets) and making room for the new Squeaky Green line. The only problem is, they pretty much killed off all the old sheets long before the new ones made it into stores. Finally, the only place around me to sell the new laundry line is Lowe’s (the apostrophe’d hardware superstore). Word on the street is that you can find these goodies at Lowes (grocery store with no apostrophe).

Is it normal for 21-year-old boys to get this excited over laundry products? You tell me.

method madness
Okay, so I’ve always oogled over the method products all lined up beautifully in rows at target—their clean designs and simple packages being what gets me—but never really purchased them regularly mostly because I’m a poor college student. That was until I read on method lust that discontinued / overstock method products are hiding in big lots across the nation. I have finally picked up a boatload of cut grass aroma pills (that I’ve picked up and look at eighty times over at target) and some sweet water goodies (pill refills, hand soaps, laundry detergent), too! …All of which is half-priced compared to what everythign retails in target.

I guess you can add method to my list of addictions, right below ikea, panera, and pushing daisies.
